PHASE 2: A wall and he first class room​
The first class room is taking shape in the beginning of 2017 and the wall around the playground and pre-school is ready. This wall is today painted with playful and colorful images done by a local painter.
PHASE 1: Initiation of Contruction​
Material is bought and local workers are hired to start the construction. It is the end of 2016 and we have an exciting year ahead with lots of hard work.
PHASE 3​: Mãe Madalena is growing
During the year 2017 the project is speeding up in terms of constructions and even if with very limited finacial resources we manage to progress very well, adding 3 more class rooms to the pre-school, toilets, kitchen and an office for the staff of Mãe Madalena.
PHASE 4​: Windows, paint and a space for physical activities
We are coming to the end of the year and everyone is doing their best to complete the constructions. At this stage the class rooms are being painted and windows and doors are put in. Electricity is installed and we are building a scene/space for dance and other physical activities.
PHASE 5: Finalizing the constructions
It is the beginning of 2018 and we are finalizing the constructions so that the pre-school and cultural center activities can begin. In this phase we are in the process of creating a fun playground and class rooms with complete interiors. We need your help in this phase to be able to advance.
